Mithai has always belonged to moments between people. It is brought when a child is welcomed, passed around after good news, placed before guests, and sent when distance makes it difficult to arrive in person.
Barfi Bazaar was created to help carry that feeling from one home to another. Not to change what mithai means, but to make it easier to send with the thought and presentation the moment deserves.

We begin preparing your mithai after your order comes in. Finished sweets are not kept waiting for the next customer, and preservatives are not added to extend their life.
This means working around a shorter window, but it also means the box leaving our kitchen was prepared with its recipient already in mind.

A box of mithai is rarely opened quietly. Someone calls the family over. A plate appears. One piece becomes two, and the box gradually moves from hand to hand.
That moment is part of what we are preparing for. The sweets matter, but so does the experience of opening them, serving them, and knowing who thought to send them.
In the Kitchen
Attention Cannot Be Rushed
Mithai changes as it cooks. Heat, moisture, texture, and timing all affect what the final batch becomes. A few minutes can make the difference between something that holds properly and something that does not.
Much of the work therefore remains hands-on. The mixture is watched, turned, tested, and adjusted by people who understand how it should look and feel at each stage.
Before It Leaves Us
Prepared for the Journey
Once the mithai is ready, the next responsibility is helping it travel well. Each order is arranged and packed to reduce movement and protect its shape and presentation.
We ship Monday through Thursday so parcels are less likely to remain in a carrier facility over the weekend. That schedule is built around the product rather than around shipping as many days as possible.
